The Bulldogs are 11-4 on the season after a victory against Chadron Friday night at home and a loss to Cheyenne East on Saturday.
Alliance hosted the Cardinals on Friday evening, where their strong offense overpowered Chadron’s defense, leading to a 65-32 victory.
On Saturday, however, the Bulldogs suffered their fourth loss of the season as they took on the Cheyenne East Thunderbirds. The Thunderbirds were only outscored by Alliance in the first quarter of the game. From there, they overwhelmed the Bulldogs’ defense, claiming a 72-58 victory.
The Bulldogs took on Gordon-Rushville on Tuesday evening; however, the results of the game were not available as of press time. The boys will travel to Ogallala on Friday.
Coming off their first win of the season on Jan. 8 against Hay Springs, the Lady Bulldogs took on the Lady Cardinals on Friday at home. Chadron’s defense hindered the Lady Bulldogs’ offense throughout the game, giving them a 51-27 victory over Alliance. The Alliance girls basketball team is now 1-13 this season.
The Lady Bulldogs played against Gordon-Rushville on Tuesday evening, though the results of the game were not available as of press time. The girls will take on Ogallala on Friday evening.
