The Alliance Community Choir will be presenting the Christmas Cantata, “A New and Glorious Morn!” by Lloyd Larson. There will be two performances, Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, and Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 7 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The choir is directed by Becky Mitchell and accompanied by Cynthia Horn. Narrators are Wally Seiler, Annette Wood and Dave Mitchell, with Cheryl Lubash adding percussion. The choir will also perform the selection, “The Angel Choir and the Trumpeter,” words and music by Chris Dedrick, accompanied by the St. John’s Brass. Sara Behrends will be performing special music during the free-will offering.
