The Alliance girls basketball team ended their season Monday night in a matchup against Gering hosted in Scottsbluff.
Gering’s defense prevented Alliance from racking up many points in the first quarter, limiting them to four, while their offense posted 17. In the second quarter, Gering repeated, preventing Alliance from scoring more than eight points while they posted an additional 23.
Gering’s momentum continued into the third quarter as they scored 21 points to Alliance’s 10. In the final quarter, Gering and Alliance each posted six points, giving Gering the victory with a final score of 67-28.
The Alliance girls end their season 1-22.
