The Alliance Lady Bulldogs are now 0-7 on the season after falling to Mitchell and Sidney over the weekend.
On Friday, the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Mitchell to face off against the Lady Tigers. In the first half, Mitchell displayed a strong defense, limiting Alliance to eight points in the first half, while scoring 23 and 28 points in the first and second quarters, respectively. In the third quarter, Alliance posted four points while Mitchell garnered an additional nine. In the final quarter, Alliance scored eight points, and Mitchell scored three, giving the Lady Tigers the win with a final score of 63-20.
On Saturday evening, the Lady Bulldogs hosted Sidney. In the first quarter, the Lady Red Raiders scored 27 points while limiting the Lady Bulldogs to 10. The second quarter shared a similar story with Sidney garnering 24 points to Alliance’s 13. In the third quarter, Sidney posted another 12 points, limiting Alliance to scoring one point. In the final quarter, Sidney scored four points, while preventing the Lady Bulldogs from scoring. The Lady Red Raiders won the game with a final score of 67-24.
The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Broken Bow after Christmas to take part in their holiday tournament on Dec. 29.
