The results of Chadron State College’s 60th Scholastic Contest have been released. Rapid City Stevens High School placed first in Division I, followed by Scottsbluff in second place, Gering in third, and Alliance in fourth place.
The Division II champion was Chadron, followed by Burns, Wyoming, and Mitchell in third.
In Division III, St. Thomas More High School from Rapid City, South Dakota, placed first, followed by Valentine in second, Hemingford in third place, and Gordon-Rushville in fourth place.
The Division IV winner was Hay Spring High School, followed by Bayard, Ainsworth, and Wall, South Dakota.
Tests covered a wide range of topics including Business Law, Environmental Science, Flash Fiction, General Anatomy and Physiology, Health, Literary Analysis, Physics, Veterinary Sciences, and Wildlife Ecology and Management.

Matthias Benzel, of Alliance took fourth in accounting. Morgan LeMunyan, of Alliance, tied for fifth in accounting with Katelyn Shimic, of Gering.
Ryan Ragsdale, of Hemingford, tied for eighth in Algebra I with Mason Albrecht of Hay Springs and Duncan Letllier, of Hulett, Wyo. Abigail LeMunyan and Madyson DeHart-Harris, both of Alliance, tied for 11th in Algebra I with Aaron Cooper, of Bridgeport and Lukes Allen, of Crawford.
Abigail Vermillion, of Alliance, tied for ninth in American Government with Ethan Norris, of Burns, Wyo., Jaryd E Akers, of Rapid City, S.D., Victoria Verhey, from St. Thomas Moore High School, and Wyatt Carlson, of Mitchell.
Josie Sanders, of Alliance, took first place in animal science. Seth Meyring, of Alliance, tied for eighth place in animal science with Cash Davis, of Hyannis and Kenli Boeselager, of Chadron.
Olive Radice, of Alliance, took third place in art drawing.
Kinzie Bridge, of Alliance, took fourth place in business communication/vocabulary.
Jacob Ferguson, of Hemingford, took third place in Business Information Systems. He also took second place in business law.
Aiden Benda, of Hemingford, took second place in business management decision making. Mason Trumble, of Alliance, took fifth place in business management decision making. Seth Meyring, of Alliance, tied for sixth place in business management decision making with Wyatt A Boerger of Rapid City, S.D.
Morgan LeMunyan, of Alliance, tied for seventh place in chemistry with Landen Mooney, of Valentine. Sonya Behrends, of Alliance, took ninth place in chemistry.
Kinzie Bridge, of Alliance, Kyra Jespersen, of Hemingford and Garett Tollman, of Crawford, tied for fifth place in consumer issues.
Cody Penaluna, of Hemingford, took fifth place in Earth Science. Joshua Miller, of Hemingford, William Nollette, of Alliance, Sebastian Buchhammer, of Burns, Wyo., and Tommy Dredla, of Scottsbluff, tied for seventh in Earth Science.
Tate Thompson, of Alliance, and Cody Penaluna, of Hemingford, tied for fourth place in environmental science.
Tate Thompson, of Alliance, tied for eighth place in general biology with Samantha Cheever, of Mullen, Isaiah Murillo, of Gering, and Alvin Joshua Russel, of Creek Valley High School in Chappell.
Dax Powell, of Hemingford, took third place in health. Jonathan Fritzler, of Hemingford, took sixth place in health. William Nollette, of Alliance, took seventh place in health.
Ryggin Meyer, of Alliance, took fourth place in human development and family life.
Drew Varner, of Hemingford, took first place in nutrition and family health. Dax Powell, of Hemingford, and Kayel Lambert, of Alliance, tied for seventh place in nutrition and family health.

Theron Miller, of Hemingford, tied for eighth place in physical science with Gabriel Camarillo, of Burns, Wyo., Gavin Peterson, of Rapid City, S.D., and Parker Wellnitz, of Hay Springs.
