Forecast discussion for the week ahead:
The July heat is back and it’s planning on sticking around for a while. A ridge of high pressure is going to settle in, giving us plenty of sunshine and highs pushing very close to the triple digits. A weak cold front will try to break up the heat by the end of the weekend giving us a small chance for showers and storms. It’s unlikely that the cold front will do too much, the heat and sunshine will return next week.
