Alvina Mollie Lehl, 96, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Highland Park Care Center in Alliance.
She was born at Bayard, Nebraska on July 13, 1927 to Henry and Katherine Bauer.
On August 14, 1942 she was united in marriage to Robert Lehl in Harrisburg, NE. To this union 5 children, Roger, Judith, James, Robert and Charles were born. They moved to Alliance in 1953.
Her survivors include her daughter, Judy Smith of Alliance, her grandchildren, Kenneth, Laurie Gray, Jolynne Lehl, Cynthia Byer, Vicki Smith, Scott Lehl and Steve Lehl, along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Hermina Meyer of Portland, OR and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, her sons, Roger, Jimmy, Bobby and Chuck, her son-in-law, Evert Smith, her grandson, Roger Lehl, Jr. and her siblings, Kenneth, Richard, Virginia, Neva and Elnora.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, November 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel. Interment will be in the Alliance Cemetery. Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be left at www.batesgould.com.
