Teresa Nelson, left, a member of The American Legion Auxiliary Alliance Unit 7, has been elected as the Box Butte County President for the 2022-23 administrative year. Jessica Hansen has been elected as County Vice President. Hansen, who is former military, is a member of both Hemingford Post 9 and Hemingford Auxiliary Unit 9. The ladies were elected at the annual County meeting at Hemingford, which began with a meal hosted by the Hemingford Unit. Next year’s meeting will be hosted by the Alliance Unit.
