The curtain came down a very successful track season for the AMS teams with a home quad meet on Monday. AMS along with St. Agnes, Chadron, and Hyannis competed in the event. Due to bad weather the meet was called after the girl’s 800. The boys didn’t run the 800 and both the girls and the boys didn’t finish the 200 hurdles, 400 relay, and mile relay.
Best team score of the day went to the AMS boy’s seventh grade team who tallied 181 points to win the team race. The Bulldog seventh graders won all 6 meets this spring. Chadron was second with 60 points. AMS also won the 8th grade boy’s division with122 points while Chadron was second with 89 points. The Lady Bulldogs from AMS also ended a fine season with a nice showing in the team race. Chadron was first in the seventh grade girl’s level with146 points with AMS second at 66. Chadron also won the eighth grade team race with 123 points with Lady Bulldogs third with 73 points.
