Traveling over 200 miles had no effects on the Alliance Middle School wrestling team on Tuesday. With 31 points, the Bulldogs tied for second at the Ainsworth invitation. Nine schools participated in the event. O’Neill won the meet with 48 points while Alliance and Valentine tied for second. Other teams taking part were: Ainsworth, West Holt, North Central, Sandhills-Thedford, Twin Loup, and St Mary’s.
Claiming golds were seventh graders Rhett Stabnow and Karson Leisy and 8th grader Jace Jensen. Two Dogs-Tee Johnson and James Benzel- finished as runners up.
