One author, Dr. Michaela Renee Johnson, a commercial pilot and psychotherapist, took her book tour to new heights this year by promoting her book, 7 Primal Wounds: Break the Patterns Keeping You Stuck, on a first ever aerial book tour, with the hope that people will gain, “the idea that they are NOT broken, and can turn their wounds into wings – and use them as a super power,” said Johnson.
She flew “Scarlett” her 1944 Stinson Reliant, coast to coast, making a total of 50 stops in 33 states. She had the opportunity to fly into Alliance on September 11, “specifically to spend time with a close friend, Molly Cover,” said Johnson.
The outcome she hopes this tour achieves is, “that human connection can spur hope and positive change and that the book will gain wings and land in 7 countries before launch in March of 2026. March is what I consider the start of the year – when people and flowers start blossoming, it’s a great time for expansion,” said Johnson.
According to Johnson, an aerial tour is, “an adventure I’d never forget – a grass roots movement to inspire positive change and achieving dreams and goals.”
