Anna Marie Fester went to join her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 7, 2021.
She came into this world on April 8, 1979 in Alliance, NE to Jack and Ellen (Adamson) Fester. Her childhood was spent in Hemingford with parents and five siblings. Her love of God showed through her many aspects of her life.
Anna was involved in many activities throughout school including jazz band, band, choir and swing choir. Upon graduating from Hemingford High School in 1997 she attended Western Nebraska Community College and obtained her nursing degree.
She spent her adult life in Alliance, NE and worked throughout the panhandle as a nurse until health reasons made it impossible to continue working.
Family meant the world to her including her three nephews, Eron, Terrell and Adam, her two nieces, Jordan and RamonaLee, her two great-nephews, Santiago and CJ and her two dogs, Sugar and Sadie
Anna is also survived by her parents, Jack and Ellen, her siblings, LaTosha, Jason (Erica), Celena (Spencer) Varga, Shauna and NaKaya as well as numerous extended family.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Glen and Lillian Fester, her maternal grandparents, Everett and Rosalie (Krejci) Adamson, as well as two aunts and one uncle on her mother’s side. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her and loved her.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 11 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Hemingford with Father Matt Koperski officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Hemingford Cemetery. A wake service will be Friday, Sept. 10 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Bridget Church. Visitation will be Friday from 1-5 p.m. at the Bates-Gould Funeral Home in Hemingford and continue at the wake service.
In lieu of flowers, a donation could be made in Anna’s name at the Hemingford Community Federal Credit Union for the future benefit of the Hemingford Public Schools.
