At approximately 1:36 PM MST, the Alliance Police Department received a report of a student with a gun at the Alliance High School. The schools went into immediate lock down. Upon their arrival at 1:38 PM MST, Alliance Police Officers assisted by Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office Deputy’s had contact with the juvenile. The juvenile was placed into custody and the weapon was recovered without incident.
