The library staff has been busy compiling book club kits for our patrons to check out. These kits include five books of each title, along with a set of discussion questions. Patrons can check the kits out for three weeks. The patron is responsible for the distribution of the books and for collecting them for return. We currently have book club kits for “The Hidden Life of Trees,” “Before We Were Yours,” “The Midnight Library,” and “Eleanor Oliphant is Fine.”
This week we will also be adding “American Dirt” and “Nomadland,” which is the book the 2021 Best Picture film of the same name is based on. We are also excited that we will have a new meeting room inside the library that would be a perfect place to host your group. So, if you have been thinking about starting a book club come to the library. We have done all the work for you. All you have to do is invite members. Adult Services Librarian Emily Nelson is happy to help you begin. Call her at 732-1387.
