American Legion Post 7 Commander
At the monthly meeting of the American Legion Post 7 on Tuesday, April 6 Carol Bauer was the recipient of the American Legion Post 7 2021 Eagle Award in sincere appreciation and in recognition of her outstanding dedication and tireless service to our military veterans.
Carol is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 7 and currently serves at the Chaplain for the American Legion Riders Chapter 43. She participates in the flag line at our military veteran’s funerals and is an active member of the Panhandle Blocks Chapter of the Quilts of Valor Group, not only as a quilter, but travels the Panhandle to participate in the presentation of those quilts. Carol also serves the Administrative Secretary for the Veterans State Cemetery at Alliance Foundation.
