To test or not to test for COVID-19 has been a lasting question for the general public over the last few months.
Now, testing is available at Box Butte General Hospital through TestNebraska for those who are willing to take an assessment and schedule a time between 9 a.m.- 10 a.m. To access the assessment and schedule an appointment, visit testnebraska.com. Box Butte General Hospital does not schedule these appointments; the time slots are only available on the TestNebraska website.
The appointment is drive-thru style. At the time scheduled, turn at the BBGH ER entrance and keep heading east, following the green arrows through the North parking lot. Testing will take place in the Ambulance bay, and results take an average of four days to return.
