Valentine High School hosted a high school girl’s wrestling meet on Friday. Eighteen school took part. Finishing fourth with 111 points were the Alliance Lady Bulldogs. Coach Madde Girard’s squad had seven athletes who ended in the top four. Taking second place were Aiva Raymer at 140 and Graci Beals at 145. Along with Alliance and Valentine, other schools participating were: Ainsworth, Amherst, Anselmo-Merna, Bayard, Broken Bow, Chadron, Cozad, Gordon-Rushville, Gothenburg, Hastings, Hay Springs, McCook, O’Neill, Ord, Sumner Eddyville Miller, and Winter.
