Betty Ann Pebley was born June 5, 1942 outside of Hemingford in a sod house. She entered into rest on January 31, 2022.
Betty married Marcus Leo Kriz and had two children, Roxi (Kriz) Reed of Alliance and Rodney Kriz of Hemingford.
Betty worked most of her life from waitressing to sorting potatoes. She also worked at Good Samaritan as a nurses aide as well as working at Electric Hose and Rubber and the Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Hazel (Kohrman) Roebuck, her husband, Lyle Pebley, and sisters, Maxine Peterson, Phyllis Varala, Audrey McCoplin, brothers, Gary Roebuck, Kenny, Floyd and two infants.
She is survived by her children, Roxie and Rodney, her grandchildren, Starla Baer of WY, Ryan Kriz of Broken Bow and Jacob Reed of Alliance and 2 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Thursday, February 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel with Reverend Gary Belk officiating.
