Beverly June Berry Myers Obituary

Beverly June Berry Myers was born to Valeria Otillie Kohlman Berry and Lester F. Berry on February 12, 1943 at Wichita, Kansas. Her family later moved to Clay Center, Kansas where Beverly attended school and graduated from Clay Center Community High School in 1961.

Beverly spent her adult years serving her Lord and others cooking in restaurants, on ranches, and in a boarding school in Kansas, Nebraska, and South Dakota. She was known for her kindness and delicious food. Beverly also enjoyed traveling whenever the opportunity presented. This passion gave her the chance to see, Canada, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, South Dakota, Arizona, Bahamas, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Nevada. These were trips she spoke of often.

Beverly married Thomas Myers on May 2, 2014 in Olathe Kansas. Beverly & Thomas later moved to Hemingford Nebraska where she was active in the Hemingford Congregational Church. On September 7, 2023 Beverly moved to a ranch at Ashby Nebraska to spend her final days. Beverly peacefully went to meet her Lord and Savior while at the ranch on February 21, 2025 surrounded by friends.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents and 4 husbands. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Thomas Myers of Hemingford, her sister Wanda Berry Knavel Torres of Billings Montana, her nephew Darick (Ashley) Knavel and children Kaylee, Aiden, Kinzley, Axle, and on the way soon of La Harpe Kansas, niece Valeria (Derek) Jones and children Marcelino and Alia of La Harpe Kansas, her nephew Eric Berry and daughter Trinity Berry of Billings Montana and many friends and church family.

Memorial services will be Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 11L00 a.m. at Hemingford Congregational Church, 460 Cheyenne Street, Hemingford Nebraska.  Burial will be at a later date at Grant Township Cemetery at Marion, Kansas.
