Blythe Marie Boness Obituary

Blythe Marie Boness was born on March 15, 2000, to Bill and Teresa Boness in Cheyenne, WY. Blythe passed away on April 10, 2022, as a result of a car accident.

Blythe attended school in Alliance and was a 2019 Alliance High graduate. Blythe was active involleyball, basketball, and softball. She attended Chadron State College for two years and thenenrolled in the nursing program at WNCC-Alliance. During her high school summers you could find Blythe at the Big Blue Bay life guarding and loving on kids. Blythe lived life with great zeal and passion. Her first passion was her family, her boyfriend Baily Hood, her dog Rip, her friends, sports, and the patients she cared for. Everyone Blythe was around became family or a friend. The Sandhills ranching community was very special to her and allowed her to find herlatest passion riding horses, ranching, and all that entails.

Blythe is survived by her father Bill Boness (Kelly Cox) of Alliance, NE and mother Teresa Kiehn of Thornton, CO, Blythe’s boyfriend Baily Hood of Lakeside, NE, her brothers Tarrel Moore of El Dorado, KS, and Taylor Moore Sidney, NE, Beau Boness and sister Bella Boness of Alliance, NE. She is also survived by her  grandparents, Dick & Lorraine Boness of Alliance, NE, Carolyn and Larry Cole of Lyons, CO her uncle Brett & aunt Teresa Boness of Alliance, NE, uncle Jon Briggs, Cheyenne, WY, aunt Brigit & Uncle Jeff Harris of Alliance, NE, Cindy Shubert, AZ and Tracey Carter, Arvada, CO. Numerous cousins and friends everywhere she went. Her aunt Bernadine Briggs preceded her in death.

Blythe’s funeral service will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Alliance Berean Church, 1639 Emerson Ave, Alliance, NE 69301. Following the service there will be a gathering at the Eagles Club, 1520 W 3rd St., Alliance, NE 69301.

A memorial for a scholarship will be established through the Alliance Public School Foundation.  Memorials may be given to the family or mailed to Alliance Public School Foundation, 1604 Sweetwater Ave., Alliance, NE  69301.
