“HS athletes were prepped and ready to compete in the damp and cooler temps on Friday. Proud of our athletes for taking their warm-up seriously and competing to the best of their abilities. Kyra Jespersen set a new school record in the discus during this meet! Earlier this week in practice Kyra’s throws coach, Coach Janssen, predicted this would happen in Chadron, as Kyra has consistently been improving in practice. Proud of Kyra, her teammates for pushing her and supporting her, and her throws coach, Coach Janssen!” said Coach Joshua Dean.
