At their first meeting of 2022, the Box Butte County Commissioner underwent the reorganization process, selecting Commissioner Steve Burke as Chairman.
Burke was nominated to serve in the role by Commissioner Susan Lore, and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Mike McGinnis. The vote was unanimous, and Burke was elected as Chairman of the Board.
Next, Burke nominated McGinnis to serve as Vice Chair, a motion that was seconded by Lore. A unanimous vote saw McGinnis elected to the position.
