With Alliance Public Schools transitioning to a 4-day school week next fall, Box Butte County Community for Kids (C4K) is seeking community input on how this change may affect local families. The group has launched a survey to better understand and anticipate the impact on families, providers, and employers.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to take a brief 2-minute survey to share their perspectives. The information gathered will help local stakeholders identify potential gaps and work toward solutions that support families and workforce stability.
“As a group dedicated to strengthening childcare in Box Butte County, we recognize that a change in the school schedule may have a ripple effect on families and providers,” said Hannah Robinson, C4K Community Coordinator. “This survey is an important step helping our childcare providers and other stakeholders prepare for the potential needs of the community for 5th-day care.”
Box Butte County Community for Kids (C4K) is a coalition of childcare providers, parents, and community members committed to expanding capacity and improving the quality of early childhood care in the region.
