Brittney Alecia Sanchez, 22, was called home on Friday January 14th 2022 at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln Nebraska with her Father by her side.

Brittney was born October 4, 1999 in Omaha, Nebraska to Felipe J. Sanchez Jr. and Rosemary Zuniga Sanchez.

Brittney graduated from Lincoln North Star High School in 2018. Brittney enjoyed going to Hobby Lobby, Goodwill, Dollar Tree, and Five Below. Brittney’s favorite color was pink and purple, her favorite food was her father’s homemade chicken enchiladas and spanish rice, and her favorite dessert was her father’s Chunky Monkey chocolate cake, which was baked quite often.

Even though she had disabilities, Brittney tried to fit in and live life to the fullest.

Every year around her birthday, her father would drive her to Omaha, Nebraska to Build A Bear, where Brittney would pick out a bear, stuff it, dress it, and pick out a favorite song and scent.

Brittney’s hobby was making her signature Angel Girl Bracelets and with overtime she expanded by adding Keychains, earrings, necklaces, and lanyards. Brittney had personally given one of her bracelets to Nebraska Quarterback Tommy Armstrong, which was her biggest highlight as Tommy wore it on the cover of Husker Illustrated Magazine.
