Bryan Keith Bayer, 56, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024 at the Mitchell Care Center, Mitchell, NE. His funeral service will be 10:30 AM Monday, February 26, 2024 at Bridgman Funeral Home in Scottsbluff, NE with Pastor Rick Reisig officiating. Burial will follow at Ash Hollow Cemetery, Lewellen, NE. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Area 1 Office of Human Development. Bryan was born October 24, 1967 at Oshkosh, NE to Donald and Donna (Orr) Bayer. He was an avid Special Olympics participant. He enjoyed bowling, riding horses and motorcycles, camping and swimming. A big highlight of his summers was going to South Dakota to ride the helicopter and train.
He was a jokester, and everyone was his buddy. He loved his group home family and Alliance friends.
Bryan was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and an uncle.
Survivors include sisters Kimberly (Mike) Lovelace and Brenda (Shawn) Willey; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and numerous other family members.
