The Bulldogs headed to Scottsbluff on April 22, where they competed at Bearcat Stadium in the Scottsbluff Twilight Invite, where the Nebraska weather had been in favor of the meet.
“It was nice to compete on a warm day where the kids could enjoy themselves and not worry about crazy weather,” said Coach Nate Lanik.
The Mens and Womens Varsity both placed seventh out of eight teams with outstanding performances on both sides.
“Kids did great and had some personal best performances,” said Lanik.
Isaiah Martinez earned two gold medals in Shot Put and Discus. Martinez had thrown 143-01 in discus setting a personal record and being the first time he threw over 140’.
The Womens 4x800m Relay team consisting of Haylie Winter, Macey Seebohm, Lily Wagner and Mikayla Seebohm came in with a time of 10:37.34a, earning second place medals.
