The Carnegie Arts Center welcomes two wonderful new exhibits to its upper and lower galleries. In the Skala and Garwood galleries is the gorgeous work of artist Nathan (NayNay) Brumbaugh currently of Omaha, Nebraska. NayNay’s exhibit titled “Embracing the Mystic Within” will be on display until June 29.
Artist Bio: As a visual and performance artist, as well as a holistic health and wellness therapist, NayNay Brumbaugh embodies a fusion of creativity, spirituality, and healing. Often hailed as a modern-day mystic, NayNay draws inspiration from the intricate tapestry of nature, the depths of metaphysics, and the profound connections woven between all beings.
If NayNay were a tree, they would undoubtedly be a Willow – their essence mirroring the tree’s supple branches, offering shade, strength, and a haven for daydreamers. In NayNay’s world, every element of nature is a source of inspiration – from the whispering breeze to the vibrant hues of wildflowers, from the dance of bees to the gentle caress of rain.
With each brushstroke and choreographed movement, NayNay invites viewers into a realm of serenity and introspection. Their art serves as a sanctuary amidst the chaos of life, encouraging observers to pause, breathe deeply, and let their imaginations roam freely.
