Cat’s 2 Mile Relay Takes Gold at Best of the West Meet

Bearcat stadium in Scottsbluff hosted the junior high best of the west track meet on Tuesday. Thirty one schools had athletes compete in the event. For the Hemingford boy’s team, the Bobcats came home with one gold medal performance. It came in the 2 mile relay where took first with a time of 9:53. Team members were: Andrew Miller Fletcher Moseman James Lanier and Zane Frost. Miller had solid day, placing third in the 800, seventh in the 100 hurdles, and fifth in the pole vault. Moseman was third in the mile. Hemingford had 2 Lady Cat pole vaulters that participated in Taya Hruby and Emerson Horstman. Both Lady Bobcats cleared 6’6 and tied for ninth overall.
