Charles Wesley Lewallen, 76, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Box Butte General Hospital.
He was born on September 23, 1943 in Belleville, IL to Charles W. and Berniece (Rushel) Lewallen.
In January 1963 he entered service in the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge in October 1966.
In September 1976 he was united in marriage to Janet H. Imler in Colorado Springs, CO. They moved to Alliance in 1979. Chuck was a retired machinist for the Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad.
He is survived by his wife, Janet, his son, Wesley A. Lewallen and numerous nieces, nephews and their children.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery at Alliance at a later date.
