The City of Alliance Facilities will be closed Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 in observance of Thanksgiving. This closure includes the Utility Office, Public Works and the Municipal Building.
Public Transit will be closed Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24.
The Alliance Municipal Landfill will be closed Thursday, November 23 through Sunday, November 26. Refuse and Yard waste steel containers will be picked up on Monday, November 20 and Tuesday, November 21. Rollout bins will be collected on Wednesday, November 22.
Alliance Public Library will also be closed Thursday, November 23 through Sunday November 26 for the holiday weekend.
The Knight Museum & Sandhills Center will be closed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24. They will reopen on Saturday, November 25 for the first day of the Annual Christmas Festival.
The Sallows Military Museum will be closed Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24. They will open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 25 and be closed on Sunday, November 26.
