A candidate forum at the Knight Museum on Thursday afternoon gave people an insight into the views of the candidates vying for spots on the Alliance City Council.
The event kicked off featuring the candidates running for a two-year term: Brenda Bishop and Chuck Frisch. Russell Saito and Incumbent Jay Weisgerber were unable to be in attendance. Following the two-year term candidates, the candidates running for a four-year term took center stage to answer questions. The candidates in attendance were Randy Hitchcock, Travis Turman and Tamara Wood. Incumbent John McGhehey was unable to be in attendance. Only two of the four candidates will be voted onto the Alliance City Council for four-year terms.
