City Facilities Announce Updated Hours
Beginning Monday, September 18, all offices within the City will be operating under their regular hours of Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
This includes the City Manager and City Clerk’s Offices, Human Resources, Electric, Water & Sewer, RSVP, Utilities Departments.
Also beginning Monday, September 18 the Streets Department goes back to their regular hours of Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Public Transit hours remain Monday – Friday 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The Knight Museum and Sandhills Center hours remain Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Closed Sunday.
The Sallows Military Museum has switched to their Winter Hours of Monday – Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Closed Sunday. Afternoon hours are available by appointment only.
The Landfill hours remain Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m., Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Closed Sunday.
The Alliance Public Library hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Closed Sunday.
APL to Share Discussion at Youth Book Club
Youth Book Club for grades 3-6 at the Alliance Public Library will share discussion of “The Birchbark House” by Louise Erdrich on Tuesday, September 26th at 6 pm in the Community Room. This book is featured as the 2023 One Book One Nebraska for Kids and copies are available for check out at the circulation desk with a $2 ILL fee.
