Knight Museum and Sandhills Center Announce Summer Hours
The Knight Museum and Sandhills Center will be extending their hours for the summer season. The Museum will be available to visit Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Summer hours will begin on May 5th. Normal hours will begin on the Tuesday after Labor Day.
Public Service Recognition Week Luncheon Planned
The City of Alliance will be holding a Luncheon for Public Service Recognition Week on Wednesday, May 7th, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. City Offices will be closed during this time. Public Transit will remain open.
It is vital that we show our appreciation for all of the hard work our Public Workers provide for our community. This Luncheon will serve as a gesture of gratitude for their commitment and the essential services they provide every day.
Alliance Public Library Announces Summer Reading 2025
Join Summer Reading 2025 at the Alliance Public Library featuring “Under the Alliance Night Sky” to correspond with the Heritage Days theme! Registration for preschool (age 3) through grade 12 will begin May 19 and continues through the program which runs May 27-June 27.
There are reading goals, weekly prizes from local restaurants, special events and grand prize drawings, including telescopes with special thanks to the Alliance Public Library Foundation.
