Autumn in Alliance Coloring Contest Announced

Share your artistic talents for the Autumn in Alliance Coloring Contest with five age divisions, Preschool, Grades K-2, Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8 and Grades 9-12. Cam Wade and Ava Weingart, library pages, are sharing their artistic talents for the coloring designs and you can select one at the Alliance Public Library starting the week of September 5 then please return them to the library by September 14 for display. Youth in the high school division also have the option of creating their own design featuring Alliance. The public can vote for their favorite in each division during library hours from September 18-22. One grand prize winner in each age division will receive a prize from the City of Alliance.

Lighting Installed at Tennis Courts

Thanks to the Electric Department the lighting system at the Tennis Courts on Box Butte Avenue are now functioning. As a reminder, the courts close at 10:00 p.m., at which time the lights will automatically turn off.
