CCC Announces Spring Honor Lists

Central Community College has announced the names of full-time students who earned spots on the President’s and Dean’s honor lists for the 2024 spring semester.

The students were enrolled at one or more CCC locations, which include the Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings campuses and the Holdrege, Kearney, Lexington and Ord centers.

Students on the President’s Honor List earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average while students on the Dean’s Honor List earned a GPA between 3.5 and 3.99.

Mario Garza, of Alliance, was named to the Dean’s Honor List.

SDSU Announces Spring Dean’s List

More than 3,300 students were recognized for their outstanding academic performance over the sping 2024 semester at South Dakota State University by being named to the dean’s list.

To earn dean’s list distinctions in SDSU’s colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Students with F, I, U, RI or RU grades are not eligible regardless of system term GPA attained. Note that this report includes courses that were taken at other South Dakota institutions this term. A minimum of 12 credits within the 100-699 course range must be taken. A student who passes pregeneral education courses may still qualify, if the student has 12 other credits that do fall within the 100-699 range.

Overall, 3,378 students from 40 states and 37 foreign nations are on the list.

Alliance’s Christian Soriano, a student in the College of Education and Human Sciences, and Hyannis’ Kaylee Davis, a student in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences, were both named to the Dean’s List.

Wayne State College Announces Spring Dean’s List

Wayne State College included 1,154 students on the dean’s list for exemplary academic achievement during the Spring 2024 semester. Students listed on the dean’s list are full-time undergraduate students who have achieved a GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale for the semester.

Karly Wangler, of Alliance, was recognized on the Dean’s List, attaining a 4.0.

Several Alliance Students Named to UNL Dean’s List

More than 6,600 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the Deans’ List for the spring semester of the 2023-24 academic year.

Qualification for the Deans’ List varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center. Listed below are the minimum requirements for each entity and the name of its respective dean or director. All qualifying grade-point averages are based on a four-point scale and a minimum number of graded semester hours. Students can be on the Deans’ List for more than one college.

UNMC Announces Spring Dean’s List

The University of Nebraska Medical Center has announced its spring 2024 dean’s list for students enrolled in nursing, dentistry, pharmacy and the allied health professions of medical imaging and therapeutic sciences program and medical laboratory science.

To qualify for the dean’s list, nursing and the allied health students must be enrolled for 12 or more hours during the semester and have a grade point average of 3.75 or above.

In the College of Nursing Scottsbluff Division, Regan Lambert, of Alliance, was recognized on the Dean’s List.

Morgan Named to Dean’s List at Wichita State University

Wichita State University has announced the names of 3,430 students who were on the WSU Dean’s Honor Roll for spring 2024.

To be included on the dean’s honor roll, a student must be enrolled full time (at least 12 credit hours) and earn at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Meagan N. Morgan, of Alliance, was recognized on the Dean’s List.

Digmann Named to Dean’s Honor Roll at Fort Hays State University

Fort Hays State University has named 1,594 students to the Deans’ Honor Roll for the spring 2024 semester.

The Deans’ Honor Roll includes undergraduate students only. To be eligible, students must have completed 12 or more credit hours and earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.60 for the semester. Full-time on-campus and online students are eligible.

Annaka Digmann, of Alliance, was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll.

LCCC Announces Spring Honor Roll

Laramie County Community College is proud to announce the list of students earning a place on the president’s and vice president’s honor rolls. Students earning president’s honor roll recognition have earned a cumulative 3.75-4.0 GPA, and students on the vice president’s honor roll have earned a cumulative 3.5-3.74 GPA.

Emma Roberts, of Alliance, was named to the President’s Honor Roll.

Morgan Receives Degree

More than 2,380 students completed a total of 2,645 degrees and certificates at Wichita State University in spring 2024.

The breakdown of degrees and certificates granted includes:

* Undergraduate: 1,495 degrees and certificates for 1,361 undergraduate students

* Graduate: 1,150 degrees and certificates for 1,023 graduate students

For bachelor’s degrees, honors were conferred to the following:

* Summa cum laude: 136 students

* Magna cum laude: 428 students

* Cum laude: 301 students

Undergraduate students who have attained a grade point average of 3.9 out of a possible 4.0 received the summa cum laude award; those with an average of 3.55 received the magna cum laude award; and those with an average of 3.25 received the cum laude.

WNCC Announces Spring President’s, Dean’s Lists

University of Wyoming Announces President’s Honor Roll

The University of Wyoming lists the following students from Nebraska on the 2024 spring semester President’s Honor Roll.

The President’s Honor Roll consists of regularly enrolled undergraduates who earned a 4.0 (“A”) grade-point average for the semester. To be eligible, students must have been enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours taken for letter grades.
