The Alliance Community Choir under the direction of Becky Mitchell, her last performance, will present two performances of the Easter Cantata “JESUS! The Resurrection of the Messiah.” The first performance will be Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 7 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church and the second will be Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church. Soloist will be Robbie Cerv and Descant will be Renee Kollars. The Cantata will be narrated by Anne Henderson-Weare and Ron Brown.
The narrative and music will take you through the emotions of the Triumphal Entry, the raising of Lazarus, the Last Supper, the moment in the garden when Jesus is arrested, the Crucifixion and finally to the joyous Resurrection.
