As Council Member Ryann Reynolds prepares to embark on a new journey, the Alliance City Council thanked Reynolds for serving the community on the City Council.
Mayor Mike Dafney presented Reynolds with a Certificate of Appreciation for serving on the council from Dec. 6, 2016 through Dec. 1, 2020.
“This Certificate of Appreciation reads ‘Ryann Reynolds has provided outstanding service, faithfully and professionally rendered to the city of Alliance, Nebraska, as a city council member,’” said Dafney.
The certificate was signed by the other council members, as well as interim City Managers Tarrah Johnson and Randy Waggener.
Reynolds thanked the community and the council for the opportunity to serve.
“I just wanted to say it’s been a pleasure serving with this council for the last four years,” said Reynolds. “It’s been really nice to be part of a group of people who are always willing to come together and solve problems.”
The council is expected to undergo reorganization at their meeting on Dec. 1, with John McGhehey and Brian Mischnick to be administered the oath of office. The results of the reorganization were not available as of press time.
