A day after a nice start to the track season in Grant on Thursday, the Alliance St. Agnes teams were back on the track Friday with a meet in Sidney. Seven teams participated in the event.
Both the Crusader eighth grade boys and the Lady Crusaders in the seventh grade ended in fifth place overall. Scottsbluff won the 8th grade boys division with 121 points while St. Agnes tallied 53 points.
Alliance Middle School won the seventh boy’s side with 122 points with SA coming in sixth with 31 points. On the girl’s team race it was Ogallala first in the seventh grade with 112 while St. Agnes finished with 49 points. Chadron won the 8th grade girls team title with 110 points with SA coming in seventh with 26 points. First place finishers for the Crusader boys were: Tripp Johnson in the mile, Paxon Richey in the pole vault and Coy Childers in the 100 hurdles. Reese Armstrong won the girl’s seventh grade pole vault competition.
