Coach Mark Glesinger said, “Very proud of all our athletes for great efforts at both Morrill and Scottsbluff! The girls had a nice showing at conference, ending in fourth place. Due to sickness and injuries we had only 4 girls that scored in non relay events, yet we competed well. It’s a numbers game and the winner, Morril, has over 20 girls out. Our boys were amazing totally 176 points. Last year we took second with 91 points so a great improvement. I knew it would be a two man race with Hemingford. We were able to put 3 in each event and have members in all 3 relays, taking 1st in the mile relay and second in both the 400 relay and 2 mile relay. It was also neat to watch our boys compete in the pole vault! Many thanks to all the parents for driving to our meets and to JJ and Justine who helped run the events. We also had a good day in Scottsbluff with Saka winning two events.”
The St. Agnes year comes to end Friday when the Crusaders travel to Gering.
