Daniel Robb Ellis, 60, of Alliance, NE., died on October 23, 2023.
Dan was born in Lincoln, NE on November 15th 1962 to Wade H. Ellis Jr. and Deanne McCune Ellis. He and his brother Michael were raised in Alliance by their grandparents; Dorothy and Dee McCune and Wade and Raye Ellis after the deaths of their parents in an automobile accident in 1967.
Dan graduated from Alliance High School in 1981 and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History (with a teaching certification) from the University of Nebraska.
He was preceded in death by; his parents Wade H. Ellis Jr. and Deanne McCune Ellis, his grandparents Dorothy and Dee McCune and Raye and Wade Ellis, and his uncles David McCune and Paul McCune.
Dan is survived by his children, his brother, his aunt and uncles.
Funeral service is Friday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Matt Koperski officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. After the services, family and friends will gather at The Bowl Mor Lounge for a celebration of Dan’s life, we hope all will attend with boisterous and happy stories about Dan.
