Delores A. Flint, 88, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, at Legacy Arbors in Lincoln, NE.
She was born Sept. 12, 1931, at Hemingford in Box Butte County, to Glen and Leona (Langston) Traster.
Delores grew up in Hemingford and graduated from Hemingford High School in 1949. On Oct. 16, 1955, she married Arthur J. Flint at Hemingford.
She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper at Live Wire Transfer, Borror Chevrolet, Art’s Conoco, Alliance Community TV, and at the Alliance United Methodist Church. She was active in the church throughout her life as a member of several women’s prayer and study groups, a Sunday School teacher, and a ringer in the handbell choir. She loved reading, walking and traveling. She moved to Lincoln to be closer to her children in 2017.
She is survived by her son Glen (Sonya) Flint of Springfield; daughter Sally (Roger) Buchholz of Lincoln; grandsons Cory and Toby Flint of Omaha; and brother Elton Traster of Rapid City, South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at the United Methodist Church in Alliance with Rev. Gideon Achi officiating. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
