Dobby’s Frontier Town is proud to announce its selection as a featured stop in the 2025 Nebraska Passport Program, an initiative by the Nebraska Tourism Commission designed to promote unique attractions and hidden gems across the state.
This year’s Passport Program includes 70 destinations, and Dobby’s Frontier Town is honored to be among them. Visitors traveling with a Nebraska Passport booklet or who have downloaded the app will be able to collect a unique stamp at the History Museum, which displays life on the High Plains in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
“We’re thrilled to be part of the Passport Program,” said President of Dobby’s Frontier Towners, Lori White. “It’s a wonderful way to share Nebraska’s rich history and culture with travelers across the state and beyond.”
Dobby’s Frontier Town offers an immersive experience with over 20 restored historic buildings, including a saloon, blacksmith shop, one-room schoolhouse, and general store. The site is a volunteer-run, donation-supported museum that provides a glimpse into pioneer life on the Great Plains.
The Nebraska Passport Program runs from May 1 to September 30, 2025. Participants can win prizes by collecting stamps at participating locations, encouraging exploration of Nebraska’s vibrant communities and attractions. Dobby’s is open from May 1st to Sept. 30th and seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
If a volunteer with Dobby’s Frontier Town is not available to stamp your booklet, we have partnered with K-C’s Shortstop to provide the stamp. Please take your booklet to K-C’s Shortstop, 2420 Box Butte Avenue, Alliance, NE, one block west of Dobby’s Frontier Town.
