Alliance had 22 track athletes giving their all at the Best of the West meet held in Scottsbluff on Tuesday night. Top scorer on the evening was junior Trevor Zurn who won the 800 and was a member of the first place 2 mile relay. Zurn’s time in the half mile was a season record of 2:02 while 4 X 800 team had a time of 8:25. Joining Zurn in the victorious relay were Brother Will plus Asher Saka and Devin Graham. In the mile, Zurn was second. The other top finisher for the Dogs came in the triple jump where Payton Boyer took home third. Senior Macey Seebohm was the top placer for the Lady Bulldogs with a bronze effort in the 800. Overall, Alliance had 7 boys and 9 girls participating in the event plus 6 boys in the unified division.
