On Oct. 20, first responders were called to Newberry’s to assist with an electrocution accident. Two people in the bucket of a lift were working at the building. As they were working, they came into contact with electrical voltage. Members of the Alliance Volunteer Fire Department were able to retrieve the people from the lift, and the people were transported to BBGH. The incident is under investigation by the Nebraska Electrical Division.
