Elizabeth Ann Hernandez made her final journey back home on December 28, 2020 at the young age of 73.
She was born December 27, 1947 in Alliance to David and Hilda (White Wash) Picket Pin, Sr.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, her husband, George Hernandez, her daughter, Georgia Hernandez and a grandson.
She is survived by her brother, David Picket Pin, her sister Elaine Picket Pin, 4 sons, Reuben, Joshua, Jacob and Jesse, a daughter, Cristy, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Her smile could light up any room and her contagious laugh will be missed by many. She was the kind of lady who would go without so others wouldn’t have to. She loved getting dressed up and going out with family and friends, playing pool or watching Huskers and Bronco’s games. Time spent with her grandchildren filled her heart. Many kids in Alliance knew her as Grandma B. She enjoyed Bingo night especially when she would win and traveling to the casino with her sister and niece was also one of her favorite pastimes.
There will be a one day wake service beginning Friday, January 1, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at the Indian Mission Church of God. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
