At the 104th Annual Convention of the Department of the Nebraska American Legion held on June 23-26, 2022 in Columbus, Nebraska, Department Commander Dan Benes presented the American Legion District 4 Citizenship Award to Robert (Bob) Miller of Ellsworth, an Alliance American Legion Post 7 member.
The Citizenship Award was presented Bob Miller for his distinguished service by upholding the highest principles and traditions of the United States and a commendation for his accomplishments during the past year in the 4th District of the Nebraska American Legion. He currently serves as the District 4 Chaplain and is the Senior Vice Commander of Alliance American Legion Post 7. Bob is a United States Army Veteran, as well as a retiree from the Nebraska Army National Guard.
District 4 is comprised of 18 Legion Posts located in western Nebraska with a membership of just over 800 Legionnaires.
