Ernest L. Miskimen, 90 of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Monument Care Center.
His memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 10:30 am at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Richard Neugebauer officiating. Inurnment will be Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alliance. He was born September 4, 1933 in Alliance, Nebraska to Elmo L. and Lena M. (Panwitz) Miskimen. He received his early education in Alliance City School, graduating from Alliance High School in 1951.
Ernest married Rosa Caton on August 31, 2002 at Gering and made their home in Alliance and later in Minatare, Nebraska.
He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
He is survived by wife Rosa, children Terri (Jim) Ford, Rod Miskimen and Tim Miskimen, brother Harvey (Grace) Miskimen, sister Marie (Harry) Safford, step daughter Karen Rhodes and nieces and nephews.
Ernest is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Ian, brothers Carl, Robert and Louis and step son Robert Carroll.
