Happy April, our FFA members have spent the past week competing in online State FFA contests. So to celebrate all of our accomplishments we will be having a watch party this week to see how our members placed in their events.
The members know if they were in the top but do not know where they placed. Ag Mechanics consisting of Shelby Carr, Wyatt Walker, Cord McBride and Ian Thompson placed in the top three teams. Welding, Cord McBride placed in the top 10 of Oxyaxetelyne, Junior Livestock Evaluation Delaney Childers placed in the top three individuals, Senior Livestock Evaluation Shelby Carr, Jayce Meyring Jayda Meyring, and Wade Sanders placed in the top three teams, Jayda Meyring top 10 individual, Jayce Meyring and Wade Sanders placed in the top three individuals.
We will also be getting ready to put on our annual ag fair, we will be having the second through fifth grade coming. Also having multiple species and information on them, Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Pigs, Horse, and a Dairy Cow.
This has to be one of my favorite projects to help and participate in because I love help putting it together and watching the kids having fun and teaching them about what I am passionate about.
