Farmers State Bank annually awards a $1,000 scholarship to a high school senior at each of their eight locations. The directors and staff of the bank have witnessed a growing need to bring back community members to serve their small towns in banking and ag-related leadership positions. They are hopeful this scholarship will plant the seed in students’ minds that quality opportunities exist in their home towns. This scholarship is intended to benefit students interested in business or agriculture and who would consider returning to a rural community upon graduating from college. Recipients must show an exceptional interest in community and demonstrate the ability to balance academics and extracurricular activities during high school. Farmers State Bank, Alliance, is pleased to award their 2020 scholarship to Madison Adam of Alliance High School. Congratulations, Madison.
