Fredrick Michael Alvarado, age 57, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2022. Fredrick Michael Alvarado better known as Mike was born on July 13, 1964. He was born and raised in Alliance, Nebraska. Mike worked for BNSF Railway for 27 years. Most importantly Mike was a father, grand-father, brother, son, husband, and a friend. A man like Mike was rare. He was generous smart, loving and kind. He had a smile that could light up a room. No one could replace what Mike meant to his family and friends. He was loved by everyone. I know when he gets to heaven, they’ll love him too.
Mike was preceded in death by his brother Billy Alvarado. He was survived by his parents Rita Fe and Michael Ventura Alvarado, his sisters, Jerri Brost and Patricia Colwell, his, wife Desiree and their beautiful children, Christopher Alvarado, Robert Alvarado, Santana Alvarado, and Keith Hedrick and his grandchildren, Adriana, Jadyn, Everett, Cameron, Zahara, Aurora, Jordan, Carter, Alexis, and Ricki.
Visitation for Mike at Bates-Gould Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday March 2, 2022 and the family will be present from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Alliance with Pastor Jim Settle officiating. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery. There will be a luncheon at the Eagle’s from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Online condolences may be left at www.batesgould.com.
